Tourism in Uzbekistan is traditionally associated with UNESCO World Heritage Sites - Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva and Shakhrisabz. But it is not only UNESCO World Heritage Sites that attract thousands upon thousands of visitors. Each city of Uzbekistan gives hundreds of reasons to visit it. And of course, Tashkent is a must-see destination for tourists. Including for CBT fans. Unique nature and rich traditions are the two main ingredients of success for the development of rural tourism. And these two components are widely represented in Uzbekistan. Now the main thing is to quickly and efficiently realize the existing potential. The full-scale implementation of this task is facilitated by the activities of the European Union project "Strengthening rural and ecotourism through business associations for sustainable economic development in Central Asia", which is successfully implemented by the Association of private tourism agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA). Within the framework of the project, with the support of the State Committee for Tourism, a number of seminars were organized in the regions of the country. The next destination was the capital of Uzbekistan - Tashkent. With the assistance of the Department for Tourism Development of the city of Tashkent, a training seminar for owners of family guest houses was held from 24 to 29 June. When Tashkent welcomes guests "at home" Taking into account the specifics of the work of a family guest house in the metropolis, the organizers of the event slightly adjusted the program of the seminar, while focusing the participants' attention on the applied aspects of the activity. For example, on the first day of the seminar, the participants noted the problem of lack of information about cultural leisure. Therefore, in order to remove this issue from the agenda, the developers of this information service were invited to present the capabilities of the aydatuda.uz service, who talked about the capabilities of the news aggregator and how it can be useful for owners of family guest houses. In Tashkent, most of the study time was devoted to practical exercises with the active use of the tools of role-playing and business games. The seminar participants were greatly interested in the speeches of a psychologist and an etiquette specialist. The applied knowledge gained during the training will help the owners of family guesthouses to serve guests at a higher level of service. The information provided by the representatives of the State Tax Committee and the company KABUS WEB SOLUTIONS (developer of the software product E-mehmonxona) will be no less useful for everyday business activities. The programs of training seminars organized by APTA are aimed at increasing the level of knowledge and strengthening the participants' potential in organizing work and successfully managing guest houses. Also, one of the tasks of training seminars is to build networking. As part of the training process, participants not only receive the required amount of knowledge, but also form a business community. In the segment of guest houses, efficient networking is especially important and useful. Prompt exchange of information and mutual assistance help to solve a wide range of issues and improve the overall level of services.
