The Association of Private Tourism Agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA) is successfully implementing the project "Development of CBT Tourism in Uzbekistan by increasing professional competencies of rural population" with the support of the "USAID's Future Growth Initiative" project. Taking into account the high interest of business circles and the high potential for tourism development in the Jizzakh region, within the framework of the project, 4 training seminars were organized at once in promising CBT tourism destinations in the Jizzakh region, in which 85 participants took part. Owners of family guest houses, as well as those wishing to master this kind of activity, in the village "Duoba" of the Jizzakh region had the opportunity to improve their skills and competencies in the framework of a five-day training course.
The participants of the seminars noted that the completed training course allowed them to increase their horizons and level of knowledge, which will help to improve the service and attract more tourists.
