To solve a complex of transportation problems on internal and inbound flows, new approaches are needed that stimulate effective forms of interaction between tourist and transport enterprises. For the solution, an effective interaction has been formed between the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Association of private tourism agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA).
At the meeting, held on August 24, 2021, the participants discussed issues related to attracting foreign tourists to our country, in particular, the transportation of passengers from the European Union to Uzbekistan by direct flights.
The event was attended by the Chairman of the Board of "Uzbekistan Havo Yollari" Ilkhom Makhkamov, Chairman of the Association of private tourism agencies of Uzbekistan Gulchekhra Israilova, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Federal Republic of Germany Nabijon Kasymov and representatives of tourist organizations.
The event participants exchanged views on stabilizing the epidemiological situation associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, attracting more tourists from the European Union to Uzbekistan.
