In the period from August 8 to September 16, 2022, in five regions of Uzbekistan, within the framework of the European Union Program «Central Asia Invest V», 3-day training seminars «Financial literacy and business planning» were held.
Training seminars was held for owners of family guest houses, as well as for those who wishing to open a family guest house, organized by the Association of Private Tourism Agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA) with the support of the EU.
Within the framework of the above 8 project, three-day training seminars in a promising CBT tourism destination in Namangan, Andijan, Ferghana, Bukhara and two-day training seminars in Tashkent regions.
Seminar - trainings were held:
- in the Ferghana region: Rishtan, Avval village;
- in Andijan region: Khanabad city;
- in Namangan region: Nanai village;
- in the Bukhara region: Romitan;
- in the Tashkent region: Bostanliq district, Kumushkan
In total, 102 people were trained within the framework of training seminars in three regions of Uzbekistan. (Among them: 55 participants were women, 47 are men). Representatives of state institutions and students also took part in the training seminars.
CBT representatives successfully mastered such topics as: the legal foundations of entrepreneurship, Determination of Smart goals and resource assessment, marketing, sales and service plan, analysis of business ideas, taxation, financial literacy, sources of initial investment.
At the end of the three-day training program, participants were awarded certificates of participants in the training.
Based on the results of the training seminars, the participants developed business plans for opening/development of a family guest house, which will be presented at the competition of business plans for representatives of the CBT of Uzbekistan, organized by APTА and ACTED.
