In pursuance of the instructions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan given during the visit of the head of state to the Republic of Karakalpakstan on August 20-21 this year, the Association of private tourism agencies of Uzbekistan jointly with the State Committee for Tourism Development held a training seminar on organizing the activities of family guest houses in the Ellikkala region of the Republic of Karakalpakstan in August 25-26, 2019.
The seminar was attended by citizens planning to launch activities to organize family guest houses.
As part of the seminar, specialists gave lectures on organizing family guest houses, improving service in accommodation facilities, providing food to guests, and master classes.
As a result of the seminar, all participants were awarded certificates.
Such events are aimed at both increasing the number of accommodation facilities in the country, and improving the quality of the service provided and creating new job opportunities for citizens.
