Benefits for organizing safari tours are provided
Dear tour operators of Bukhara, Navoi and Surkhandarya regions! Take advantage of the benefits provided by the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the development of ecotourism in order to create quality services for tourists!
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 4755 dated June 19, 2020 "On additional measures to develop the tourism sector in strict compliance with the requirements of an enhanced sanitary and epidemiological safety regime", tour operators registered in the Bukhara, Navoi and Surkhandarya regions are allowed to pay customs duties in in the amount of 50 percent of the current rate for the import of off-road vehicles with an engine volume of at least 2.4 liters for the provision of services in these regions with payment of the remaining part within 3 years from the date of import.
Determine that these vehicles are assigned separate series of state registration plates and their use is allowed exclusively on the territory of Bukhara, Navoi and Surkhandarya regions, respectively.
In view of this, we urge tour operators in the above regions to take full advantage of the benefits provided!
It should be noted that in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On additional organizational measures to create favorable conditions for the development of the tourist potential of the Republic of Uzbekistan" No. 5326 dated February 3, 2018, licensed tour operators are allowed to pay customs duties in the amount of 25 percent of the current rate by paying vehicles with high traffic for the organization of extreme tours in installments for a period of 5 years.
Thus, to date, 15 tour operators on the territory of the Republic of Karakalpakstan imported 38 road vehicles from abroad that provide services to tourists, which made it possible to dramatically increase the influx of tourists.
