All about guest houses: A special website has been developed to promote CBT tourism in Uzbekistan

CBT (Community Based Tourism) is one of the directions for the development of domestic and inbound tourism, it is a relatively new and promising direction. For the effective implementation of the European Union project "Strengthening rural and ecotourism through business associations for sustainable economic development in Central Asia" in the Republic of Uzbekistan, a set of measures was developed aimed at marketing promotion of CBT in Uzbekistan. The range of prepared information products turned out to be quite wide: logo, website, brochures, dictionaries and a manual for owners of family guest houses.

For the advertising promotion of CBT (Community Based Tourism) in Uzbekistan, a special website has been developed - www.cbtuzbekistan.uz, where detailed information about guest houses is placed with a demonstration of the location on an interactive map. Convenient logistics for consumers and a comfortable ecosystem of the site allow you to find the best option for recreation in rural areas of Uzbekistan. The site has been developed and will be covered by the Association of private tourism agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA).

For the convenience of users, on the website www.cbtuzbekistan.uz, in addition to information about potential places of rest in family guest houses, CBT routes developed by the country's leading tour operators will be posted.

“The presence of an attractive image of the territory and developed interesting routes creates an opportunity for the formation of a competitive tourism sector in a particular region. However, it is not enough to reveal the tourist potential of the territory. The most important thing in modern realities is the correct popularization of tourist resources. And the mission of the website www.cbtuzbekistan.uz is to solve this important problem, ” said the chairman of the APTA Gulchekhra Israilova.

Also, in order to promote CBT Uzbekistan, the logo of CBT (guest houses) of Uzbekistan was developed, which can form a recognizable image of the country's rural tourism. The main task is to develop a corporate identity for Hospitality Uzbekistan, embodying the hospitality of Uzbekistan and the direction of tourism Community Based Tourism.
