A delegation of Uzbekistan took part in the meeting of the UNWTO Global Crisis Committee in the field of tourism
The delegation of Uzbekistan, headed by the Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development Aziz Abdukhakimov, took part in the meeting of the Global Crisis Committee in the field of tourism UNWTO (United Nations World Tourism Organization).
The meeting was held within the framework of the meeting of the Executive Council of the World Tourism Organization, dedicated to the development of specific plans for the restoration of the tourism industry.
The event was attended by over 150 ministers and heads of various international organizations.
One of the main issues on the agenda was the issue of a coordinated approach to the restoration of tourism against the backdrop of vaccination against COVID-19.
UNWTO has called on members of the Global Tourism Crisis Committee to join forces for a global campaign to restore confidence in the tourism and travel sector.
