Uzbekistan extends restrictions on flights with 8 countries for a month

Restrictions on international flights between Uzbekistan and eight countries - Great Britain, Italy, Germany, Denmark, Austria, Australia, the Netherlands and South Africa - have been extended for another month.

Uzbekistan has extended restrictions on international flights (inbound, outbound and transit) with the UK, Italy, Germany, Denmark, Austria, Australia, the Netherlands and South Africa until March 1, according to the decision of the Special Republican Commission to Combat Coronavirus, taking into account the persistence of a difficult epidemiological situation in these countries.

Previously, restrictions were introduced from December 21 to January 10, and then extended until February 1. The previous time, Germany was not included in the list of countries with which air traffic was suspended, but the special commission in its last message again included this country.

Recall that citizens of these countries and stateless persons permanently residing in these states, as well as citizens of third countries who have visited these states within the last 14 days, are prohibited from entering Uzbekistan during the period of the restriction.
