Flights to Karshi and Termez will be opened from Urgench
Flights to Termez and Karshi will be launched from Urgench. Earlier, a flight to Fergana was opened. In addition, railway flights Termez-Karshi-Khiva, Khiva-Urgench-Nukus and Termez-Karshi-Samarkand will open.
By the decree of the President of Uzbekistan dated February 9 on the development of domestic and pilgrim tourism, it is planned to open a number of new air and rail flights.
According to the decree, in addition to the recently opened Fergana-Urgench-Fergana flight, the Termez-Urgench-Termez and Karshi-Urgench-Karshi routes should be launched, and the number of Andijan-Khiva-Andijan flights should be increased.
In addition, by April 1, it is planned to launch regular railway routes Termez-Karshi-Khiva, Khiva-Urgench-Nukus and Termez-Karshi-Samarkand;
The decree provides for subsidizing air and rail flights on these routes, as well as flights from Tashkent to Bukhara, Nukus, Termez and Urgench and to the Fergana Valley;
In the future, it is planned to launch other domestic air and rail flights using a subsidy mechanism.
