Austrian government updates procedure for entering the country by foreigners

Entry into Austria from the territory of Uzbekistan from July 1, 2021 is possible for any purpose of travel.
At the same time, when entering Austria, it must be taken into account that, unless the ordinance on entry requirements provides otherwise, entry is possible under the following conditions:
When entering Austria from Uzbekistan, a certificate of vaccination against COVID-19 with a vaccine approved by the European Medicines Agency or the World Health Organization (BioNTech / Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson) is required in German or English to be submitted / Janssen, Sinopharm, Sinovac). The vaccination card is considered valid if 14 days have passed after the second vaccination dose (in the case of the Johnson vaccination, after the first).
If a vaccination card cannot be presented, you must provide one of the following proofs and go through a 10-day quarantine, which can be ended prematurely due to a new negative test result, but at the earliest on the 5th day after arrival:
Certificate of a negative molecular biological test (e.g. PCR test within 72 hours) or antigen test (no more than 48 hours back) on SARS-CoV-2 in German or English or a recovery certificate in German or English, issued by A doctor or government agency and confirmation of a disease with COVID-19 infection that was transmitted within the last 6 months or documentary evidence of the presence of antibodies from no more than 90 days ago.
In addition, a mandatory electronic check-in (pre-travel clearance) is required before entering Austria, which can only be checked in 72 hours before entry. The registration form is available in German and English at entry.ptc.gv.at. Persons entering Austria must present their registration confirmation from the PTC system in electronic or printed form at the security check.
This procedure is valid until August 31, 2021.
Certain groups of people, such as business travelers, passengers and minors accompanying vaccinated adults, etc., are exempt from the quarantine and registration requirements, as detailed in the section on exemptions of the above regulation.
