Joint efforts for a common cause

On December 5, 2018, a meeting of the participants of the working group of the European Union project «Strengthening rural and ecotourism through business associations for sustainable economic development in Central Asia» was held.
The purpose of such meetings is the desire to «check the clock». Participants share and discuss the latest developments in the tourism services market in order to identify industry trends. This tool allows collective efforts to improve the services provided, as well as to develop new promising tourism products.
During the meeting, APTA representatives acquainted the participants in the working group with the implementation of the European Union project. A list of promising regions was announced and it was proposed to take a more active part in the development of new tourism products. As a result of fruitful discussions, the participants in the working group came to the conclusion that the development of promising tourism products is possible through joint efforts under the auspices of the APTA. Their implementation will contribute to improving the living standards and level of tourism services in the regions through the development of infrastructure and tourism facilities without harming the environment and culture of local residents.
