Raising awareness of the population about the possibilities of opening and running family guest houses in the Jizzakh region

On March 16 of this year, a meeting was held between representatives of the APTA with the population of the village of Duoba in order to involve the population in entrepreneurial activities and create new jobs by opening family guest houses.
The meeting was attended by the adviser to the khokim of the Jizzakh region on tourism and sports Rakhmonkulov Sundor, representatives of the Territorial Administration of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development in the Jizzakh region, the Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Justice for the Jizzakh region, the Department of Land Resources and State Cadastre of the Jizzakh region and other responsible faces.
At the event, the available opportunities and benefits in the field of tourism in general, as well as in the field of activities of family guest houses were announced. In particular, the representatives of the APTA informed about the upcoming training seminar for representatives of CBT tourism "Organization of effective activities of the guest house", organized within the framework of the USAID's Future Growth Initiative project.
During this seminar, participants will be able to familiarize themselves with the key topics necessary for building a business: managing a guest house, organizing reception, meals and leisure for guests, the basics of drawing up a financial plan and marketing for a guest house.
Also, within the framework of the event, certificates for the conduct of activities were awarded to 10 new family guest houses, the owners of which will also take part in APTA trainings.
