Leading organizations join forces

In recent years, the tourism industry of Uzbekistan has been actively developing, but the pandemic has made significant adjustments to the work of all market participants. The tourism industry of Uzbekistan, forced to stand idle due to the COVID-19 epidemic, used the forced pause to update itself and search for new areas of application. The period of forced downtime clearly demonstrated to the representatives of the tourism industry of Uzbekistan the need to consolidate efforts and search for new points for interaction and cooperation.
A vivid example of effective cooperation and partnership is the mutually beneficial interaction between the Association of private tourism agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA) and the Academy of Hospitality. APTA is the oldest and largest public organization in Uzbekistan, whose activities are focused on the tourism sector. APTA, on the basis of advanced foreign experience, seeks to introduce innovations in the tourism sector. And the "Academy of Hospitality" over the years of its work has become a generally recognized brand of high quality educational service. The mission of the organization is to create a system of advanced training and retraining of tourism industry specialists in accordance with international standards.
Considering that the strategic goals of the above two organizations coincide, the parties decided to combine efforts and resources to achieve the program objectives. On March 7, 2021, a solemn signing of a memorandum of partnership between APTA and the Academy of Hospitality took place. Consolidation of efforts and pooling of resources of the two leading organizations in their niches will strengthen human resources and accelerate the development of the country's tourism industry.
