A week-long training seminar within the framework of the USAID's Future Growth Initiative project has been successfully completed in Bukhara region
The Association of private tourism agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA) organized training courses for the owners of guest houses as well as for potential owners of guest houses in the Bukhara region.
21 participants took part in the training seminar. During the training, the following topics were covered, among others: guest reception, management of the guest house, fundamentals of financial planning and marketing. Other topics were the quality of the services and the day-to-day running of guest houses.
Participants valued the training as an opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills and competencies in the field of tourism.
