The certification period for hotels and hostels has been reduced to 15 days

The process of certification of accommodation facilities (hotels, hostels, motels, sanatoriums, guest houses, etc.) has been reduced to 15 days, the press service of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports reports.

The process is carried out by the "Certification Center for Sports and Tourism Services" under the Ministry.

How to get a certificate?

To obtain a certificate, an entrepreneur must send by mail or electronically submit an application to the center with the following documents attached:

-
copy of the cadastre and lease agreement;

-conclusion of regulatory authorities;

-copies of contracts concluded with companies that ensure the safety of guests and the quality of services provided.

The Center will consider the application within one working day. If he decides to carry out certification, the entrepreneur will receive a corresponding contract, if he decides to refuse - a notice indicating the reasons.

For certification, the applicant must transfer money to the bank account of the center according to the agreement. Then the composition of the commission is formed, which will begin work within five working days after the approval of the order of the management of the center.

The commission will conduct the assessment itself for compliance with regulatory documents within three working days (no more than two working days for the services of the tour operator). Then the necessary decision is made.

In case of refusal, the entrepreneur has the opportunity to eliminate the shortcomings, then the center will re-evaluate.

On the day of the decision, the Certification Center will send the applicant a decision to issue a certificate (with an appendix to the certificate and an agreement on the right to apply a conformity mark) or to refuse to issue a certificate.
