Results of seminars

In December, the Main Department of Tourism and Sports of the Bukhara region held training seminars on the topic: "Marketing sustainable tourism for MSME's" for hoteliers within the framework of the MOST project.

The "MOST" project is aimed at promoting the model of sustainable tourism and increasing the tourism potential
of Uzbekistan.
More than 40 representatives of the hotel business of Bukhara were trained at training seminars organized by the Association of private tourism agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA), the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as with the support and funding of the European Union.

During the training, representatives of the hotel industry received a large amount of useful information, learned how to identify the needs of tourists, received practical marketing advice and learned how to develop strategies to promote their business in the sustainable tourism market in the conditions of COVID-19.

The speaker at the trainings was a tourism expert from Latvia - Juris Smalinskis, who has extensive experience in the field of tourism, a tour guide in 50 European countries, the author of more than 200 articles, an active lecturer in tourism and ecology at Vidzeme University College.
