A 3-day training seminar for trainers and experts of the APTO was held in Tashkent

A 3-day training seminar for trainers and experts of the Association of Private Tourism Agencies of Uzbekistan on financial literacy and business planning for CBT (community based tourism) organizations has ended. This initiative is being implemented by APTA under the project «Silk Road CBT Initiative: Connecting Central Asian Community-Based Tourism and European Markets», funded by the European Union. During three days, the participants received extensive knowledge and practical methods for developing a business plan, knowledge of tax regulation and credit policy.

In particular, they learned how to correctly and in detail draw up marketing, production, organizational and financial plans when developing a business plan. The result of the training seminar was the ready-made business plans developed by the participants with calculations and forecasts. The trainers will use the acquired knowledge when training representatives of CBT-family guest houses.
