A training seminar for TIC is being held in Tashkent

A training seminar for tourist information centers (TIC) is being held at the Ichan Qala Hotel in the Tashkent. The seminar started on June 27 and will last until June 29 this year.

The 3-day training was organized by the Association of Private Tourism Agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA) and ACTED within the framework of the EU Project: «Silk Road CBT Initiative: Connecting Central Asian Community-Based Tourism and European Markets» of the Central Asia Invest V Program. 
 
The seminar is attended by representatives of regional departments of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan. APTA specialists also take part in the seminar.

Trainer of the seminar: Strategist, leading Russian specialist in territorial marketing and crowdsourcing, director of the Center for Territorial Marketing, founder of the School of Strategists and the Crowdsourcing Academy, expert of the United Nations International Development Program (UNPD) - Konstantin Garanin.

Within the framework of the seminar, the participants will master such topics as trends, creative tourism, creative products, a look into the future Territory marketing and Digital TIC as the basis for the operation of a modern tourist information center, Digital solutions for digital TIC, new products and their development, digital analytics technologies, customer experience design, tools for solving key problems.
At the end of the training, participants will present group solutions for the development of spatio-temporal maps.
