The “Welcome to St. Petersburg!” road show took place in Tashkent.
This event was organized by the Committee for Tourism Development and the City Tourist Information Bureau of St. Petersburg with the support of the Association of Private Tourism Agencies of Uzbekistan.
The event was attended by representatives of APTA, tour operators and travel agencies, representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Visitors to the road show were able to take part in a workshop - individual meetings in B2B format, see a presentation about the tourism opportunities of St. Petersburg, and take part in quizzes and prize draws. The evening ended with a business dinner with a cultural program.
During the meeting, guests from St. Petersburg showed videos about the tourism potential of the northern capital and presented the services of tour operators.
At the B2B meetings, current issues about the tourism industry were raised and the conditions for long-term mutually beneficial cooperation were agreed upon.
