In particular, Dmitry Alekseevich Pukhov, Director of the Agency for Tourism and Promotion of the Tyumen region, in his speech spoke about the main aspects of the Agency's work and planned activities.

The leitmotif of the meeting was the presentation of tourism products and potential of the Tyumen region. APTA representatives learned about the wealth of the region: from medical and health resorts to medical and industrial tourism.

The Tyumen region, popularly called the “Gate of Siberia” with its ancient cities, promises an unforgettable experience for tourists from Uzbekistan. The participants of the meeting learned about the region's rich heritage, its thermal resorts and unique attractions.

No less important was the issue of further cooperation discussed. Plans for the future include development of partnership relations, holding an infotour for representatives of tourism business, APTA specialists and media representatives to the Tyumen region, implementation of a cycle of joint events and strengthening ties between the Tyumen region and Uzbekistan, as well as organisation of Agencies of Tourism and Promotion of the Tyumen region representatives to visit Uzbekistan.

This meeting was not only a significant opportunity to get acquainted with the tourist opportunities of the Tyumen region, but also the beginning of long-term fruitful cooperation in the field of tourism and cultural exchange between the two countries.
