Hospitality in the Digital World: Seminars for representatives of family guesthouses in Bukhara

On May 28-29, 2024, two-day seminars for representatives of family guesthouses were held in Bukhara under the title “Hospitality in the Digital World: Training on Effective SMM Promotion for Family Guesthouses”.

This event was held under the USAID's Future Growth Initiative project, bringing together 20 CBT representatives.

The Association of Private Tourism Agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA) with the support of the Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Tourism Development Department of Bukhara Region are the organizers of the seminars.

The objectives of the seminars include:
- Training representatives of family guesthouses in effective methods of promotion in social networks.
- Raising awareness of the importance of social networks in modern marketing.
- Improving the service of rendered services.
- Increasing motivation for development.
- Increased competitiveness.
- Attracting more tourists to family guest houses.

The seminars became an important stage in the development of participants' skills in the field of SMM-promotion. The acquired knowledge and practical skills will help representatives of family guesthouses to effectively promote their services in the digital space, which, in turn, will improve the quality of service and attract more tourists to the region.
