Working meeting in Fergana: discussion of tourism prospects

A working meeting dedicated to the development of tourism business in Fergana region was held in Fergana city as part of the «APTA Networking club». The event brought together representatives of various tourism-related industries and provided an opportunity to discuss the prospects and challenges facing the region.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Association of Private Tourism Agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA), as well as the Regional Tourism Development Authority of Fergana region.

The meeting participants included tour operators, hoteliers, guides and representatives of transportation companies, which ensured a broad coverage of all aspects of the tourism industry.

The meeting raised key issues concerning both the current state of the tourism business and its future development.

One of the key points of the meeting was the discussion of cooperation between different sectors of the tourism industry.

Tour operators and representatives of the hospitality sector exchanged ideas on improving tourism infrastructure and service, and proposals were made to improve logistics and transportation, which will make the region more accessible and convenient for tourists.
