The process of classifying family guesthouses in Kashkadarya region has started
Since June 19 this year, within the framework of the USAID Future Growth Initiative Project the process of classifying family guesthouses in Kashkadarya region has begun.
This activity is part of an initiative to introduce certification of family guesthouses and assign them a star category.
The project classifier for family guesthouses, as well as the system of rating star signs and certificates were developed by the Association of Private Tourism Agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA).
The classification of family guesthouses represents an important step towards improving the quality of tourism services in Uzbekistan. The star rating system will make it easier for tourists to navigate their choice of accommodation, giving them confidence in the level of service and comfort.
The classification also creates incentives for guest house owners to continuously improve their services. Receiving a high category and stars will be a prestigious achievement that will attract more tourists and increase revenues.
