Participation of APTA in Workshop on Global Trends in Adventure Tourism

On July 1 this year, representatives of Association of Private Tourism Agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA) participated in a workshop entitled "Global Trends in Adventure Tourism". The event was organized under The USAID Business Support Project and attracted a wide range of participants interested in the development of the tourism industry.

The educational session was led by Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) representatives Russell Walters and Gustavo Timo. The experts shared their extensive experience and relevant knowledge in the field of adventure tourism. During the workshop, participants gained invaluable insights on current trends and future directions in this dynamic industry.

One of the key moments of the session was the presentation of a tourist route including Fergana Valley, Tashkent, Jizzak, Kashkadarya and Samarkand regions. ATTA experts spoke in detail about global trends in adventure tourism that can be successfully applied in these areas.

Special attention at the workshop was paid to the discussion of problematic issues of adventure tourism organization. The participants actively shared their thoughts and proposed solutions for the development of this area. In the process of discussions, specific proposals were developed to improve infrastructure and create conditions for attracting more tourists.

The workshop ended with a productive exchange of views and the establishment of new business contacts. The participants expressed hope for further cooperation and development of adventure tourism in Uzbekistan.
