Classification of Family Guest Houses in Fergana Region
Within the framework of The USAID Future Growth Initiative the process of classifying family guesthouses in Fergana Region has been successfully completed.
This initiative, organized by the Association of Private Tourism Agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA) with the support of the Regional Management on Tourism Development of Fergana Region, is aimed at improving the quality of services and competitiveness of family guesthouses, which, in turn, contributes to the development of the tourism industry in the region.
Thirteen family guest houses participated in the classification, of which 3 houses received star categories: 2 houses were awarded 3 stars and 1 house received 2 stars.
This classification project, developed by APTA, includes a star rating and certificate system, which helps family guesthouses to improve their services and attract more tourists.
Participation in the classification will help family guesthouses in Ferghana region to reach new heights in providing quality service.
