Classification of Family Guest Houses in Andijan Region: A Path to Excellence
Andijan region, located in the east of Uzbekistan, has a rich culture and history, which makes it an attractive destination for tourists. An important aspect of tourism is the provision of comfortable and hospitable accommodation.
Family guest houses play a key role in this process, however, this sphere in Andijan region is at the stage of formation and development.
A recent classification by APTA specialists, in which 16 family guesthouses participated, revealed that only one of them received one star. This shows that basic accommodation conditions are in place, but also emphasizes the need for further improvement and development of hospitality services.
This classification project was developed and organized by the Association of Private Tourism Agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA) with the support of the Regional Department for Tourism Development of Andijan region, is aimed at improving the quality of services and competitiveness of family guesthouses, which in turn contributes to the development of the tourism industry in the region.
At the moment, family guesthouses in Andijan region offer tourists basic conditions for comfortable accommodation.
Classification of family guesthouses in Andijan region emphasizes the need for improvement and development of this sphere. Introduction of modern standards, improvement of infrastructure and staff training will allow to increase the level of hospitality and attract more tourists to the region.
