Cross-Border Itineraries in Central Asia: New APTA Methodological Manual

Association of Private Tourism Agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA), within the framework of The USAID Future Growth Growth Initiative, has introduced a new methodological manual “Cross-Border Itineraries”.
This manual offers five unique tourist itineraries across Central Asia designed to immerse tourists in the authentic culture and life of local people, allowing them to see the region through the eyes of its inhabitants.
The main idea behind the cross-border itineraries is to create a deep connection between tourists and local people, providing an opportunity to get to know Central Asia through the lens of its culture, traditions and daily life.
The presentation of this toolkit took place at the Ladies Workshop: Creating unique cross-border itineraries and the secrets of word of mouth in Central Asia.
The event brought together female professionals from the tourism industry who shared their experience and discussed the secrets of creating unique routes that can attract the attention and gain the trust of tourists.
You can receive the manual in electronic format at the APTA office in Tashkent at 18, Aybek Street.
