“Success Story” within the framework of The USAID Future Growth Initiative. Success Story: “Evergreen” family guesthouse is a clear example of how family values and support can be the foundation for creating something truly unique.
Avazbek Khasanovich Ismoilov, a native of Margilan, has dreamed since childhood of creating something unique that would embody the traditions of his native land and inspire others. His experience in law helped him develop the skills necessary for business, but Avazbek's true calling has always been tourism and hospitality.
Avazbek decided to realize this dream in 2021 when he opened his family guesthouse "Evergreen". The name of the house symbolizes the desire to preserve the natural beauty and create an atmosphere of comfort for each guest. However, the basis of this success was not only Avazbek's personal determination, but also the invaluable support of his wife - Umarova Kamara Ilkhom kizi. It was her faith in the common project and active participation in its formation that allowed the guesthouse to achieve success.
Kamara, a lawyer by profession, turned out to be not only Avazbek's faithful companion, but also a full partner in the creation of the family business. Thanks to her support, advice and in-depth knowledge, the project that started with a small idea has grown into a successful enterprise. The family guesthouse “Evergreen” has become an embodiment not only of love for the native city, but also a symbol of family unity, where every member of the family contributes.
The son, Hasanov Muhammaddiyor Avazbek Khasanov, an engineer by education, has also joined the family business. His technical knowledge has helped introduce modern solutions in the management and development of the family guesthouse, making it even more attractive to tourists.
Establishing “Evergreen” was not an easy path, requiring overcoming many challenges, from funds finding to a unique offer developing for tourists. But the family's teamwork, support and commitment to excellence helped overcome all obstacles.
Today the family guesthouse “Evergreen” is not just a place for rest. It is a corner where tradition and modernity go hand in hand, and each guest feels a part of the family. The family guesthouse actively cooperates with local artisans, supporting the economy of the region and promoting the cultural heritage of the Fergana Valley.
Participation in the APTA project under The USAID Future Growth Initiative has given a new boost to business development. This summer “Evergreen” passed the classification of family guesthouses and received the category “three stars”, which was an important step in recognizing the quality of services provided.
In the future, the Ismoilov family plans to expand the infrastructure of the family guesthouse, introduce environmentally friendly technologies and organize cultural events so that guests can delve deeper into the traditions of Margilan and Uzbekistan.
The story of “Evergreen” is a story of love and dedication of one family to its work, which allowed the family guesthouse to become an oasis of tradition and hospitality in the heart of Margilan.
