APTA members and media representatives take part in an info tour of the Tyumen region

The time spent in the Tyumen region was a genuine journey experience to the heart of Siberia for APTA members and media representatives. The program of the infotour turned out to be rich, productive and brought a lot of positive emotions.

The first point of the tour was an interactive excursion called “Tyumen - the Gate of Siberia”, where the participants learned about the rich history of the city, which was founded in 1586 year. Tyumen is the first Russian city beyond the Urals, located at the crossroads of ancient trade routes. Today it is a modern and dynamic city.

The participants of the infotour visited the paleontological collection of the local history museum “City council”, where they could see rare finds telling about the prehistoric past of the region. The next point was a trip to the city of Tobolsk - the ancient capital of Siberia. Here the guests plunged into the rich history of the region, visiting the house-museum of Grigory Rasputin and the excursion “G.E. Rasputin - the mystery of the Russian Empire”, where they learned more about the life of this mysterious person.

Tobolsk impressed the participants with the grandeur of its architecture and rich history. A special impression was made by a tour of the Tobolsk Kremlin with a visit to the St. Sophia сathedral, as well as the museums “Palace of the Viceroy” and “Prison сastle”, revealing the dark pages of the history of the region.

The program was not only informative, but also gastronomic. The participants of the infotour tasted old siberian cuisine cooked in a homemade way, which added warmth and coziness to their journey.

The infotour gave the guests not only a deep immersion into the culture and history of the Tyumen Region, but also allowed them to feel like heroes of russian fairy tales. The program will continue until September 26, promising even more interesting discoveries and unforgettable impressions.
