Tourism activists were honored with honorary awards

On September 24, a solemn event dedicated to the World tourism day was held at "Hyatt Regency Tashkent" hotel, where the achievements of tourism industry activists were honored.

Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov, who opened the event, noted significant changes in the tourism sector of the country. He emphasized that thanks to the initiatives of the president, numerous benefits for entrepreneurs engaged in tourism were introduced in 2024, which was an important step towards the development of this industry.

More than 60 representatives of the tourism industry were honored at the event, including cultural figures, representatives of state and international organizations, as well as businessmen and journalists who have made a meaningful contribution to the development of tourism.

APTA was especially proud of the awards given to Farkhad Rasulev, General Director of "Dolores Travel", and Dinora Yuldasheva, International projects coordinator of Association of Private Tourism Agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA), who received the badge “Tourism Fidoisi” (tourism devotee).
