Journey to the heart of Siberia. Results of the infotour of the Tyumen region
A fascinating infotour of the Tyumen region, which was attended by members of the Association of Private Tourism Agencies (APTA) and media representatives, has come to an end. This journey deep into the Siberian lands, from September 19 to 26, became a real discovery for many and allowed to see the unique opportunities of the region for tourism.
The tour was organized by the Agency of tourism and promotion of the Tyumen region, which prepared a rich program that gave an opportunity to immerse in the history and culture of Siberia. The participants visited the most iconic sights of Tyumen and Tobolsk, including the "Verkhny Bor" thermal pool, Grigory Rasputin's house-museum, the Tobolsk Kremlin and the Cathedral of St. Sophia.
The cultural program also included excursions to museums, acquaintance with handicraft traditions, and a visit to the "Taiga" ecological park.
The museums of Siberia made a special impression, including the museum of entrepreneurship, the museum of the family of Emperor Nikolai II, as well as unique historical sites such as the Abalaksky Znamensky monastery. The participants were able not only to see architectural masterpieces and feel the spirit of history, but also to enjoy traditional Siberian cuisine - dishes made from local gifts of nature.
An important part of the infotour was a round table with participation of Dmitry Alekseevich Pukhov, director of the "Agency of tourism and promotion of the Tyumen region", where the prospects of cooperation and promotion of the region's tourism potential were discussed. The participants noted the importance of such meetings for strengthening partnership ties and tourism development between the two countries.
The infotour of the Tyumen region was not just a trip, but a real immersion into the culture, nature and hospitality of Siberia.
