APTA participated in the meeting of the International council for sustainable tourism development

On October 23, 2024 in Moscow, at the “Hyatt Regency” hotel, a meeting in hybrid format of the International council for sustainable tourism development was conducted, which was attended by the chairman of the Association of Private Tourism Agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA) - Israilova G.B. The meeting gathered leading representatives of the tourism industry of the CIS countries, including Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
The Council was established in 2024 on the platform of the CIS Business center for economic development to strengthen international cooperation in the field of sustainable tourism. It is designed to unite business efforts to transform tourism logistics, form new cross-border products and expand interaction with international organizations. Special attention was paid to aviation support, staff training and implementation of sustainable development standards.
At the first session, participants discussed promising projects that will be further integrated in the CIS countries.
