Changes in the category “Best video from Tajikistan”
It is worth noting the changes in the category “Best video from Tajikistan”. The original winner Alisher Primkulov with his work “Big Hello, the most beautiful lake of the Fann Mountains” refused to undergo the identity verification procedure. The organizers repeatedly tried to contact him, offering him a video call to confirm his identity and sending a copy of his passport, which is necessary for the registration of the act of acceptance of the prize.
However, Alisher Primkulov refused to fulfill these conditions and subsequently refused the prize.
As a result of the jury's decision based on an objective assessment, the prize was given to Andrei Sokolov with his work “Gissar Fortress”, whose work took the second place in the category. This decision reflects the organizers' desire to ensure fairness and transparency of the contest.
The jury's decision and the awarding of the prize to Andrei Sokolov were carefully coordinated with USAID FGI partners.
The contest became a platform for talent identification and exchange of professional experience among travel journalists from both countries. The works of the participants impressed the jury with their deep immersion in the topic, expressiveness and originality. These materials not only emphasize the skill of the authors, but also serve as an inspiration for the development of the tourism industry in the region.
Each winner was awarded valuable prizes:
Best article: laptop
Best video: smartphone (iPhone)
Andrei Sokolov's prize is in the process of being delivered to Tajikistan, and very soon he will be able to enjoy his well-deserved reward.
We express our sincere gratitude to everyone who participated in the contest. Your works became an important contribution to the development of travel journalism and popularization of the rich cultural and natural heritage of the region.
We congratulate the winners and look forward to your participation in future competitions!
