Kick-Off meeting between representatives of ACTO and ACTED
On November 2, 2021, a Kick-Off meeting with representatives of the international organization "ACTED" took place at the office of the Association of Private Tourism Agencies of Uzbekistan. At the meeting, issues of further cooperation and the work plan for ongoing projects funded by the European Union were discussed, namely:

The project “Silk Road CBT initiative: Connecting Central Asian Community-Based Tourism and European Markets” (funded by the European Union Program "Investments in Central Asia V")

Project “Promoting Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Production in the Community- Based Tourism Sector in Central Asia” (funded by the European Union SWITCH-Asia Program)

During the meeting, sessions and trainings of specialists from the fields of HR, management, finance and accounting, logistics were held, at which the following topics were discussed in detail:

-grant management, financing and reporting
-documentation, procurement rules and procedures
-requirements for monitoring, execution and implementation of projects
-anti-fraud policy and others
