A working meeting with the Director of the USAID's Future Growth Initiative Project was held in APTA

On August 11 this year, a working meeting was held at the office of the Association of Private Tourist Agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA) on the implementation of the USAID's Future Growth Initiative Project.
 
The meeting was attended by APTA Chairman - Israilova G., Director of the USAID's Future Growth Initiative Project - Sarah Wall, Partnership Specialist - Toshtemirov S., APTA specialists.
 
During the meeting, the issues of the effectiveness of the grant mechanism for the development of small and medium-sized businesses, the implementation of the USAID project in Uzbekistan, in particular the work done by the APTА within the framework of the project "Development of CBT tourism in Uzbekistan by increasing professional competence of rural population (Phase II)" were discussed.
 
APTА presented presentations on holding training seminars for CBT representatives and determined their effectiveness for the further expansion and development of the CBT tourism sector in Uzbekistan. Also, a variant of the classifier for family guest houses, developed by APTА experts within the framework of the project, was presented.
 
As a result of the working meeting, the effectiveness of grant programs to support and develop small and medium-sized businesses in the CBT tourism sector was noted.
