The tourist and recreational zone “Zomin” is the most promising object for the development of tourism.

Popularization of the Zomin TRZ, an increase in tourist flow, the development of sustainable tourism and ecotourism, plans for cooperation between the APTA and the Zomin TRZ and much more were discussed during the meeting of the APTA with the Director of the Directorate of the Zomin Tourist and Recreational Zone - Shukhrat Zhurabaevich Khakimov.

The working meeting took place at the office of the Association of Private Tourism Agencies of Uzbekistan (APTA) on August 15 of this year.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the development of new areas of tourism and the creation of Zomin tourist routes. The director of TRZ presented Zaamin’s new capabilities. The parties discussed the possibilities of cooperation between APTA and Zomin.

Promotion of the Zomin TRZ will attract tourists to the country, additional investments, create new jobs, develop infrastructure and expand additional opportunities for the development of the tourism business.

The territory of the Zomin TRZ has unique physical and geographical characteristics. It is located 200 km south of Tashkent and 50 km south of the city of Zaamin, on the border with Tajikistan. The territory is surrounded by mountains on both sides. From the east - by the ridge of Mount Tokalichuk, from the south - by the Turkestan ridge.

The area is characterized by a wide variety of different geological forms, such as plateaus, gentle mountain ranges, high alpine peaks with steep rock formations and deep canyons.

Zaamin National Park is a major health and tourism center of Uzbekistan with the famous Zaamin sanatorium and unique natural resources for summer and winter tourism.

The territory of the Zomin TRZ occupies an area of about 6432.3 hectares and includes the lands of the Zaamin National Natural Park, the Zaamin State Mountain-Juniper Reserve, the Zaamin Forestry and the free territories of the Jizzakh region of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

TRZ "Zomin" has a high tourism potential and includes such unique sites as the international plateau "Suffa" with various opportunities for "wild" and active recreation, the village "Zaamin Ultra" with numerous historical, cultural and natural attractions.

Today, a number of tourist facilities are already operating at the Zomin TRZ. Among them:

✅ three three-star hotels under the brands “Wyndham Garden”, “Wyndham TRYP” and “Ramada Encore by Wyndham”;

✅SPA - wellness center for 100 people, inside which there is a massage salon, Turkish hammam, Finnish sauna, bathhouse, swimming pool, jacuzzi, fitness-bar;

✅cable car, with a total length of 2500 meters, includes restaurants, playgrounds;

✅ cottages – Shale, etc.

In addition, construction work is underway on other tourist facilities. Such as:

✅ shopping and service center and multi-storey parking;

✅ modern restaurants;

✅ suspension bridge;

✅29 cottages;

✅ relaxation area and selfie area for vacationers with the inscription “Suffa 2400” on the hill at the entrance to the tourist area.
