Установлен порядок субсидирования получения или повышения категории гостиниц
By the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of October 6, 2020 No. 602 "On support of the tourism industry entities and the development of tourism infrastructure in the economic situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic", the "Regulation on the temporary procedure for partial compensation of expenses related to the activities of individual tourism entities and reimbursement of costs" was approved aimed at the implementation of preventive measures by business entities to combat the epidemic ”.
This document establishes the procedure for subsidizing the receipt or upgrade of the category of hotels.
The subsidy will be allocated in the manner prescribed by law to legal entities that provide accommodation services (hotel services) for work on reconstruction, renovation of a hotel to obtain a category (star) or upgrade, as well as to strengthen the material and technical base.
The subsidy is allocated at a time, in the following amounts:
- for each room of 3-star hotels - 5 million soms;
- for each room of 4-star hotels - 10 million soms;
- for each room of 5-star hotels - 15 million soms.
The allocation of subsidies to hotels for work to obtain or upgrade a category (star) will be carried out until June 1, 2021.
To allocate a subsidy to a legal entity, it is necessary to apply to the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the Development of Tourism with an application for receiving a subsidy in written or electronic form. Applications will be accepted until May 15, 2021, and their consideration until June 1, 2021.
The following documents must be attached to the application:
- an extract from the state register on the right of real estate objects;
- a copy of the document confirming the work carried out on the renovation, reconstruction of buildings and structures of the hotel and (or) strengthening the material and technical base;
- a copy of the certificate of conformity indicating the category of 3, 4 or 5-stars of the hotel, issued by the State Unitary Enterprise "Center for Certification of Tourism Services" under the State Committee for Tourism.
